I am very grateful to God for meeting Tigist, her husband and children. As a new immigrant looking for a dayhome for my children, I visited her dayhome and I was impressed by her personality and friendliness.

Tigist takes care of my children like her own, I feel relaxed whenever they are at the dayhome because her dayhome is clean, hygienic, secure and always fun for the children.

She teaches the children manners, art, cleanliness and good maorals, I am certain she is the best at what she does and I am more than happy to refer her any day any time! We love Tigist dayhome!!

Our son has been attending the day home for almost 18 months, we have seen super and beyond care given to our son in a loving environment. Our son's motor, learning, communication and development skills have been on the increase due to different activities created for the children at day home.

My daughter has been in Tigist’s care for the last 5 months and she was recommended to me from another family, and I am so happy she was! Tigist made me feel comfortable right away and was very flexible and accommodating with my schedule and my financial circumstances. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Tigist since 2017. My son attended her day home between 2017 – 2021 from the age of 10 months – 4 years. As a first-time mom, it was incredibly hard to leave my son with someone to go back to work, however when we first met Tigist and saw her incredibly bright and educational space we knew it would be a perfect fit. Her hours were 6am-6pm which was rare in a day home. It accommodated my start time of 7am, even though it was early – she was on time and welcomed my son with opens arms and a big smile. Tigist was kind and caring; she went above and beyond to plan fun art activities, out of day home trips (trick-or- treating at the mall or library days) and the meals introduced my son to a variety of food types. Tigist provided sheets everyday which detailed what my son ate, when he slept, his activities, photos etc. I found this to be incredible as it felt like I had spent the day with him, even though I hadn’t. She truly loved and treated my son as her own. My son always enjoyed his time with Tigist and even now several years later always asks to visit or go to her day home on PD days. We frequently recommended Tigist to friends, family, and neighbours so that they have peace of mind when they make the decision to leave their little ones with someone.

We were recommended Tigist’s day home by a friend of ours after a long search for the perfect childcare for our daughter. As soon as we meet with Tigist we knew we had found the right fit. Our daughter has now been attending the day home for just about a year now and we couldn’t be happier. She talks about Tigist very often and it always excited to see her in the mornings. Our daughter’s communication skills have improved immensely since starting and we fully trust that she is cared for to the greatest extent. The love and compassion that Tigist shows the children in her day home is truly admirable. We are excited to see her continue to flourish in the new childcare center.
