The care plan at the Authentic Child Care center encompasses infants to school-aged children, providing full-time, part-time, and drop-off options for all age groups. Our services are available for 12 hours a day, from 6 am to 6 pm.
There are two rooms available to cater to different age groups. Room 1 accommodates infants from Group A, aged 6 to 12 months, while Room 2 houses infants from Group B, aged 12 to 18 months. During this stage, children engage in active exploration and discovery, learning about their surroundings through movement, grasping, touching, and tasting.
Our dedicated staff gives primary care and attention to this age group. As caregivers of infants, we understand the importance of addressing their physical needs. This involves promoting healthy sleep habits by providing a safe and comfortable crib for rest and nap time. Introducing new foods and textures is crucial for their transition to solid foods, and encouraging self-feeding with fingers and spoons aids in their development. We actively engage with infants, fostering exploration through movement and physical activities while maintaining continuous supervision to ensure a safe environment.
Safety is our top priority. When feeding a child in a high chair, we prioritize safety by using secure safety harnesses to prevent falls. We ensure all dangerous objects are kept out of sight, reach, and securely locked away. To prevent choking hazards, we keep small toys, batteries, and modified foods away from infants. At Authentic Childcare Center, the safety of the children always comes first.
Cognitive Needs in Infants
As infants have cognitive needs, Authentic Childcare Center educators play a vital role in supporting their communication skills. This can be achieved by observing their behaviour, engaging in frequent conversations, using hand gestures and actions to reinforce words, sharing books, and singing songs. Establishing a consistent routine also contributes to their language development.
Social and Emotional Support in Infants
As caregivers at Authentic Childcare Center, we understand the importance of providing social and emotional support to infants. By empathizing with their emotions and creating a sense of security, we help them develop a strong attachment with our staff. When babies experience separation anxiety, we respond with warmth, greeting them with kind words, a smile, and a hug. Providing structure, such as encouraging babies to cuddle with a favourite toy or blanket, can also be beneficial. Our staff tracks individual developmental growth and maintains open communication with management and parents for proper follow-up. Our priority is to create a nurturing environment where infants feel comforted, cuddled, and reassured.
At our facility, we offer full-time, part-time, and drop-off care for all age groups. Our services are available 12 hours, from 6 am to 6 pm.
